Ice-cream time in San Gimignano: after 17 years spent in Lübeck and Kiel, Sergio Dondoli has opened an ice-cream shop in the Piazza of the famous well. Queues are long, servings are generous, the choice is huge and quality is outstanding. Alexander Solschenizyn and Tony Blair have manifested their satisfaction with thank-you letters - Sergio displays them proudly on the walls of his constantly overcrowded Gelateria.
